Dear Constituents
A few months have now passed since the Assembly elections on the 5th May 2016.
Whilst I was naturally disappointed with the result, I am humbled that 5670 electors in Cardiff West, felt that I was the person that would best represent their views in the National Assembly of Wales.
On behalf of Cardiff West Conservative Association. THANK YOU
Led in Wales by Andrew RT Davies the Welsh Conservatives continue to be a strong voice in the Assembly, holding the Labour run government in Wales to account.
We have our new Prime Minister in Theresa May, we have formed our new cabinet. We continue to implement our 2015 manifesto pledges.
We do this whilst Labour are divided in opposition. UKIP are in disarray and the Liberals are ineffective and reduced to a single AM in Wales.
Nationally Conservatives continue to drive the economy. Recently Wales has seen the lowest unemployment figures since 2008.
In the referendum on the 23rd of June 2016 the year the Country voted to leave the European Union. Whilst unknown difficulties may lay ahead, Theresa May has said Brexit will mean Brexit. A new government department led by David Davis MP will be tasked with co-ordinating our exit from the European Union.
Looking forward to May 2017 we will see the local elections for Cardiff council. Currently in Cardiff West we have Councillor Rod McKerlick in Radyr & Morganstown, Gavin Hill-John Pentyrch & Gwaelod-y Garth, Graham Thomas Creigau & St Fagans.
All bring considerable experience talent and a common sense approach to Cardiff Council and the wider community.
Along with Pippa Hill John I am proud to say I have been selected as the local Conservative candidate to fight the 2017 local Cardiff Council election for Danescourt, Llandaff and Riversdale.
Finally thank you once again to everyone that supported and voted for me in the 2016 National Assembly for Wales election campaign.
