Council tax has rocketed nearly 50% in the last decade when Labour administration have controlled Cardiff City Council and the Welsh Government.
Despite promising to freeze council tax Labour has hammered Band A households (those on the lowest rate of council tax) who now pay £342.97 more than they did a decade ago.
Cardiff Labour planned another 4% council tax increase.
Cardiff Conservatives opposed this hike. Cardiff council elections take place this year. Lo and behold Labour back-tracked to a much lower 1.9% increase.
Cardiff Labour's track record of broken promises and council tax rises has fallen especially heavily on residents on fixed incomes including pensioners.
We cannot afford another five years of Cardiff Labour.
