Currently, The Boundary Commission for Wales is conducting a review of Welsh parliamentary constituencies and will be submitting a final report on the review to the UK government before October 1st 2013.

The area of the Cardiff West constituency needs to be expanded in order to meet the electoral quota of between 72,810 and 80,473 voters.
